Of course, I played with contrast and sharpness or whatever a bit in PS but nothing major. I don't have a 'photographer's camera' and don't consider myself a photographer or have anything to prove. It's just a nice travel snap

and a nice one as well!! i was just wondering cause the colors seem to have that special tone that reminds of hdr a bit & i often get it myself with ps but not without it.

I don't know what it is about this picture. I think it's the way the dark of the water contrasts the areas of bright sunshine, and the saturated colors of the buildings complement each other. The place looks truly magical.

I think the glass factory is on Murano... we went to a restaurant and my wife ate strange slimy shelly things with spaghetti

As for the glass, I do have bought some Murano glass in Venice, where we went some 10 years ago. I also remember going to Burano (not Murano) and seeing some glass blowing (probably just for tourists), but I may be wrong.

Who knows, I'm sure they might have some glass blowers on Burano too. We bought some glass jewellery for my wife and mother in law.
