For our final in english we had to make a newspaper on the salem wich trials. I was lucky enough to get the comic section of the paper. I wasn't very enthused with the comics which you will probably tell : (. But you might enjoy them. I took real photos off the internet and made them look like so.Related content

Yes actually. I saw a few about 4 months before i made these for school. I never remembered the comics name until someone yelled at me for "ripping off Red Meat"

The look was inspired because it looks newspapery, which was one of the standards we had to do for the assignment. But you are right, even though i did not care for making these much i was inspired by red meat. Thanks again.

I think its a fairly commonly used practice to use old comics and redub them, or to give them that old timey look by using old photographs etc in juxtaposition with what they are saying for comedic effects. Soo, I don't think anyone can say that you ripped off the idea, let alone from a specific comic.
