I've been looking through all of your art, and I just cannot believe it. Your art is amazing, even with your non-dominant hand. I can't even write my name with my non-dominant hand, let alone sketch, make accurate and proper line-work, and quality coloring and shading. My non-dominant hand drawings look like I drew them with my feet compared to your's. Bravo!

It makes me happy when people enjoy my gallery! I was very upset when I hurt my dominant hand from all the inflammation. I thought I would never be able to draw again and all I wanted to do was cry. But I convinced myself that if I could learn how to write as a toddler, surely I could learn how to use my non-dominant hand. It was tough in the beginning, telling myself that it was okay to keep my artwork simple, that I didn't need complex detail to put my feelings out there. It definitely helped me appreciate my own artwork and ideas more.
Β I still can't use my dominant hand easily and unfortunately, these problems appear to run in the family. But I'm so grateful I stuck with the other hand. And if I can't use my hands, i have my feet! If I cant use my feet I'll use my teeth! XD
also, don't compare yourself to me! It took me forever just to be able to make a line but I was still able to see the detail and color due to past practice with my dominant. You aren't being fair to yourself! Compare yourself to how you used to draw and to the level you would like to be at!Β With enough time and practice, you can get to any level you want~Β

Haha! Yeah! I probably shouldn't be comparing myself to you! But, it makes me feel great about my artwork when I compare what I'm currently drawing to something drawn months ago. When I see the improvement it surprises even me!

Heh, you only see it when you compare new drawings to drawings you once thoughts were good.

Thanks! I use a tablet, although I sometimes use the mouse for the line layer and initial colors. It helps me see the whole image rather than tiny details in the start~

Thank you! I have a habit of splitting up tasks between my hands, so switching to my left wasn't as painful as it could have been XD

I've tried to do that, but my left hand is so useless that makes me angry.
