Maaaan I just read through all of your NOCT comics... eagerly waiting for the next one!!
Just a question though: This looks really, really interesting and fun and I saw a lot of other people also doing this. I was wondering if you knew if it isn't too late for other people to join in on the fun?Β

The other person forfeited. If she had told me that in advance, I would only have drawn the first panel and not wasted 10 hours of my life.

...Did you just kill Holly's hat?
I love this painting thing that you're doing. It looks so amazing and cool and it gives the picture a sort of softer but more amazing feel. This is hard to explain. ._.
Also loving the rocks used as panel breaks and the Solarbeam and the Air Slash and omg this is too good. :'D

JESUS HAT MUST HAPPEN NOW. THE STITCHING WILL RISE. WE WILL SEW FOR OUR SINS.
But it looks soft what kind of sorcery made the hard brush soft and the soft brush hellish. I must know these answers. ._.
You're welcome!

BUT SEWING IS ALMOST AS UNPLEASANT AS REPENTING. It's more productive, though...
The answer to the hard brush is blending. It's a whole lot of work, but not nearly as much as it sounds. When the colors suddenly turn smooth in front of your eyes after just a few strokes, it's a magical feeling.
And the soft brush is bad because you don't see any strokes and the painting looks too smooth. The eye needs a bit of texture to get interested.
