Description
Colored version of the ancient pic, "Aniki, why do you hate me?" [link] To quote the description on the original pic:Another illustration for The Lucky Ones by Izzy. This was inspired by chapter 22 when Sesshoumarou remembers a piece of a conversation he had with the young IY after rescuing him from Itzayoi's relatives:
"Aniki, why do you hate me?"
"Because you are a hanyou, a filthy half-breed who is beneath me."
"Chichi-ue and Haha-ue loved me."
"Chichi-ue and his human wench are dead. I am all you have now until you can fend for yourself. Get used to it."
"If you hate me, why did you come for me and take me with you?"
"Because it is my duty as Chichi-ue's eldest son and heir. Chichi-ue should have drowned you at birth. Instead he risked his life to save you and that human bitch from death. Neither of you deserved to live! But you are my brother and I am honor bound to protect you. Expect nothing else from me."

Great picture . . . But Sessumaru is such an ass! Inuyasha is just a child who has lost everything and the only person who he is related too that is still alive is treating him like he is scum!
In all seriousness though, I love the colouring, the expressions and the background.

you look at that innocent little face and tell me that is not the cutest boy you ever saw.how can he be so cruel? if i was his sister i would have saved him from them to keep his cuteness all to my self.And if he ever asked me to beat someone up i would gladly shove someones face into a brick frickin wall(and i'm a pacifist!).....after i fall to pieces from looking at those sad amber eyes.

I have a question. I like this pic and I would like to read the manga that you got the idea from but I am not sure where to find it. This is beautiful, haven't seen you do a piece in this sort of style for awhile.
Just a few little critiques, the wrists on the arms of the characters that are exposed, aren't really well defined. The hand just mostly flows into the arm without much definition between. I can see the black line you have there, it's just not terribly evident to me. And the cloud (I think it's a cloud) wrapping around the older male's figure, just looks a little out of place because the style is slightly different to the rest, without the lines around the outside. Just doesn't exactly fit for me. As always, feel free to ignore any critique from me.
