I wanted a prettier title but couldn’t think of anything that suited this piece more to me.
Hooray, it’s finally finished! Warm fuzzy Victuuri.
From here on out most likely anything I post will also be intended as a print at A-Kon this coming June. I have several YoI ideas lined up, so hopefully they’ll work! I also have one other piece that I might get out in the meantime since it’s pretty simple and already inked (*cough* paxohana *cough*), but we’ll see what my hand feels like working on.

Ohhh if you do, you won't be sorry! This series is my second favorite ever (right behind Inuyasha at #1) and these two are my second OTP (again, right behind InuKag). It's such a great story and all of the characters are fabulous. There's not a single boring one in the bunch.
One of the things I really love about this pairing is how naturally they developed into a pairing... it wasn't forced at all, or like just ending up together because they're the main characters so it's expected. It wasn't until much later that Kubo (one of the creators) said in an interview that they never intended for Yuuri and Victor to be a couple at all; it was supposed to be a story about the platonic bond between a coach and student. She said as they were writing the first season they realized that Yuuri and Victor were falling in love and rather than ignore it they just went with it, so it seems natural because it WAS natural. lol
I love it when characters take on a mind of their own. Writers who let their characters dictate the story instead of the other way around are some of the best out there, I think.
