Art trade with amazing
...and finally I'm done with my exams
......and when I finally had a free evening Photoshop decided to stuck. It didn't want to work again and I had to close it and so I lost 2 hours of work xD Such a warm welcome Photoshop did to me ._.
And this is Wynn
Kaya-Snapdragon 's pretty pretty unicorn character. She's so fun to draw, especially the hair and her tail <3 (which is hidden under her dress xD) I'm not sure if Wynn would ever wear a dress like that but I hope it suits her. I kept thinking of medieval dresses while sketching her.I think Wynn doesn't look like an unicorn in my style XD

WOW! Very talented work ya got here. The character is adorable and magestic, the perpsective's amazing, and the coloring is marvelous. May I ask what type of brush do you use for this? Have you learnt it from some tutorial or on your own?
I love the ornaments, hair style and even the texture of the clothing is wonderfully executed. The background isn't so outstanding as with your other pictures, but still it works really well. I envy you drawing background skills ^___^'

When I had just started using Photoshop I looked at some tutorial for the colouring (mainly cell shading) but I couldn't do it right. My shading was pretty bad but later I bought a tablet. I don't know if you use one or not but tablet has some wonderful pressure effects wich does wonders with the shading. I always use a solid brush (size depending on shading area) with the pressure effects on and the rest is just my hand ^^ the thing that helped me improve my shading also was that I always shaded my sketches trying out different kinds/positions in order to get that "feeling" of how to shade
