Description
The history of these forms goes back to the tropical climate, developing at the close of the Cretaceous and the Paleogene. The beginning of the creation of the Bear Cave dates back to around 50 million years ago.
Bear Cave in Kletno is situated within the massif of Śnieżnik Kłodzki, on the right slope of the Valley of Kleśnica stream, in a block of marbles within the mountain Stroma (1,166.80 meters below sea level). This is one of the biggest and deepest caves of Poland.
