Yeah its true, there should have been a little more development for it. Apparently the writers' original intent was for Rhinox's "reveal" speech to be sad and broken, not angry and evil. Which would have worked far better to make sense.

I liked the concept he had, but I wasn't that fond of the series. Awsome work here

i felt the series worked better after it was finished and I watched it as a whole. Separate and with breaks in between (weeks AND season)weren't good. Definately had a wicked ending. C'mon, frickin double take-out!!!

The tank-vehicon body was my favorite of the Vehicon designs, but I loathe the Tankor character.

i think tankor/rhinox would have worked better after hearing the writers' intent in the script for the "reveal" speech. It wasn't supposed to have been "angry", it was supposed to be a "sad" piece of dialogue, and Rhinox wasn't supposed to have come off as a bad guy, just emotionally broken.

i think it was an interview from a few years ago. It also might have been on Ben Yee's site in the episode guide notes, but I can't double check because his website is down for remodelling. But I KNOW i read it somewhere, I know I didn't halucinate it :-P

that was the "Generation 2" reruns of the Gen1 episodes. Energon was rushed to the point where it was badly or literally translated and made NO sense much of the time :-P

Yeah. It's bad enough they turned him into a villian who was the polar opposite of his character in Beast Wars, but when they had him die evil that was just injury to insult.

Nice job getting the little details on his armor. He would be a pretty cool character for Animated, and you never know. I mean, Strika's set to make an appearance, so...
But why did Rhinox have to die? X[

For Rhinox, they should have done same as Silverbolt with him and given him a new body as well, just have to spend time to get over the psychological damage same as Silvy.

Awesome. I love BM and just wish they'd made the Tankorr is Rhinox reveal a little more of a slow burn and have him turning being the big end of s1 cliffhanger.

yeah, that would have worked much better. I think the series pacing was off, it seemed to be written as a whole and not as individual episodes in some weird way :-P
