Shockblast from the Energon era of TransformersArtwork totally modelled in 3D Studio Max, cel rendered into lineart in Swift 3D, then coloured in Flash and touched up Photoshop.

Shockwave was definitely one of the best things to come out of Transformers Energon

While Shockwave is known for being emotionless and logical in ALL of his incarnations. It's clear that Shockblast was neither of those things. But I do like the fact how cold and merciless he was (which is another aspect of Shockwave that's mostly overlooked). Like when he held Padlock hostage to get past Prime, Hot Shot, Inferno, and Wing Dagger. Then when he gets clear and sets Padlock free... HE KILLS HIM!

Oh Gawd, ShockBlast was my favorite boy in the Energon. And then came his lil bro SixShot.... But I kinda thinked him as an own character than a copy of Shockwave. Maybe it was coz he was so brutal and hasty dunno.

Energon wasn't one of my favorites but I did like the reference to Shockwave with Shockblast. Brain Drummond provided an awesome job with the voice but he's no Corey Burton haha. Nice job, love the glow effects.

Yeah, I think Shockwave should be one of those "always used" characters like Bumblebee, Soundwave, jazz and Grimlock. Always a cool character, no matter the incarnation.

I know the basics of how to do it in Flash, but it'd probably take a looong time fer me to make one. Might try some simple animations soon, like a transformation from robot to vehicle mode animation possibly, just to try it out
