Just some preliminary crap I did for a project for my 2D Design class, using a little pocket USB hub I happened to be carrying with me. I kinda dig it.

Nope. It's actually a class teaching design and composition, as well as the basic fundamentals of art (line, shape, symmetry, etc.)
I was drawing the USB hub I had in front of me at the time - so yes I was using a reference
