WARNING: Below (and above) contains spoilers for the movie Brokeback Mountain! Please do not read if you have not seen the movie or do not want to spoil the ending!I was watching Brokeback Mountain with my sister the other day, and I was thinking about how Jack had died. And I was like, "Wow...you know that's really sad that Jack had to die."
My mind's sort of funny when it comes to death...you know, it has a hard time of grasping the concept of something so...permanent. I can accept death, but my mind likes to dwell on the concept.
So, then I was thinking about the fact that Heath had just died, and I told my sister..."You know, in what world could they be together?" and it gave me the idea for this picture.
I'm in no way implying that Heath and Jake were gay lovers or anything of the sort, but I was very much intrigued by this concept. It seems they're always torn apart by death.
I, of course, mean no disrespect by this towards anyone. I am very saddened by Heath's death. Him and his family/friends are always in my thoughts/prayers.

You know, I've thought of that, too. I actually had an idea for a fanfic in which Heath gets to heaven and meets Jack (the character, not Jake) there. Jack mistakes him for Ennis upon seeing him.
