Hey! Cool job.
Me gusta mucho lo que lograste, especialmente con la sutil rim light, que queda muy bien.
¡Saludos desde Argentina!

Thanks for the compliment. I viewed your artwork and I liked! You have many good drawings.
Here are the pointers:
We paint as we think. We can paint if we have the knowledge to rendering things.
Select and focus in the art style that you like or admire.
Learn to be observer. Take your time and learn to view and figured out how the effects of painting was created. This is self teaching.
Practice without limit of time, you are learning new things, getting new knowledge. Speed panting it's for high skill level (means you already know everything to do renderings).
You can copy or imitate and artwork that you like as a private practice. If you get the same quality and effects, means that you did it using your own process of thinking, your own knowledge. The next step is application of this knowledge doing a new original painting . For example, if you did a painting copy of Catwoman as a practice; now you have to do a new painting of Black Cat or Black Widow as application. Try to use the same pose and light origen. This is one way how learn to paint "Black suits". Now if the new art is truly original from you, then you can post and sharing your own art.
Study effects and textures from references, it can be photos or another arworks.
Study how to create the light and shadows effects.
Study color theory and how to do a good gradient shadow effects. You have to learn how mix colors and how to create a good looking color composition.
Try to do Masterpieces more often as posible, this helps to improve your self technique.
Practice more often as posible.
I learned to paint using color pencils for kids, and few years after I learned to do oil painting over canvas. I was a self teaching around 90%. Digital Painting is something new for me, I'm just doing aplication of my knowledge and experience with oil painting. Maybe it would be good idea check Bruce Timm Artworks with color pencils and Michael Linsner too.
I may recommend these books:
-Hi-Fi Color for comics. Digital Techniques for professional results. By Brian Miller and Kristy Miller.
-Color and Light. A guide fot the Realist Painter. By James Gurney.
-Master Digital Color:Styles Tools Techniques. By Brian Miller and Kristy.
I hope those pointers may help you.
