Description
This is to follow "Contact" and "Nearly Touching". Due to popular request I revisited my sketch and finished it. I really liked the looseness and sketchy style it used to have. So I tried to retain some of that in the final piece. It's not one of my personal favorites, or best. But I am thankful for everyone who commented on "First Touch" and wanted me to continue this piece. It was alot of fun to go back to!Her heart races as her body rises higher, and higher. She can feel the warmth coming off of the flesh that surrounds her. The hand that holds her is tender still, for the time being. She is relieved, for the moment. But she knows there is a great amount of strength in those fingers that encompas her. She looks up to her captor, while still resisting. She places her hands on either side of his gigantic thumb to try and push back. Her First Touch sends a quick shiver through her, for this was real. She really was under the control of this massive being. "Please" she thought "let him be gentle."

I like how you drew his hand open, most just make a fist. But your notion of "First Touch" is wonderful! Most cannot show that moment very well, I like the way you did it.

Wow! Thank you! I really didn't want to have the giant labeled one way or another yet, I still wanted him to be a mystery. So having an open hand v.s. a fist left the viewers to decide if he was gentle or not.

Ah yes, this is marvelous! Your whole series is great, but something about this one really stands out to me. If I put my finger on it, I will comment again. Wonderful job, and I'm pleased that encouraging words did not fall on deaf ears. Major kudos to you for going back to this one.
