Description commissioned me to draw one of his favorite parrots, the Black-Headed Caique. I am also drawing him a Green-Winged Macaw, which should be posted tomorrow evening and then I will mail them out together!

I think I did pretty good with this one Took me... roughly four or five hours. My hand hurts though as my grey pencils are getting a little short, I need to stock up on them

Aaaaaah this is so gorgeous. ; A ; I love caiques to death (Well white-bellied ones are cuter than the black-headeds I feel because they look a little kinder hah), and this looks so legit and realistic and perfect.

Thank you! Aww poor black-headed caiques, you don't like them as much as their white-bellied cousins I think all parrots are adorable, I don't really have any preference

I do like them, I just owned two white-bellied ones for years and loved them whole-heartedly while the only black-headed ones I knew were angry breeders. XD So I'm biased with that.

But yay for parrot love! It shows in your work and I'm happy you choose to draw birds.
