Sylveon can only first be a femail but then you can breed it to get a boy and evees only evolve to one if the evees knows a fairy type move and has Β max happy ness which can only be acheaved by pokepall so good luck.

cool in diamond and peral i had a level 100 empolion before i reached the eliet four and champion ( mainly because i was a dumb ass and couldn't figure out how to get to the last gym.)

I has a theory. What if the battle scene with Pikachu and Sylveon was hinting something? When they traded the trade was a Pikachu and Eevee. But, when they battled it was Sylveon aand Pikachu.Β

I think the trade was a Pikachu and Eeevee because they are mascots since 1996. I think Gamefreak is more creative than make Sylveon a trade evolution. They also said Pancham and Inkay have a new evolution method, I'm sure Sylveon has one too.
