Description
This is my main hiking and photo hunting area. Llyn Ogwen at the end of Nant Ffrancon. The lake is on about 300m height and the mountain to the left Yr-Ole-Wen goes up to just below 1000m and on the other side of the lake you have Tryfan, the Glyder, Y Garn and Foel Goch (order left to right, all around 1000m high).
So you can spend a good day out hiking, scrambling or climbing BUT it is quite rare that there is no wind (or rain).
