i have, however, posted multiple walkthroughs of paintings i've done. maybe you'll be interested in looking at those?

the best advice i can give you is to use lots of references and just practice a lot. i can't teach you something which you learn by yourself.Β

Those walkthroughs are really helpful, but since I don't really have anyone here to help me so I have to figure thing myself, can you please tell me some stuff I am just curious about?Β
1. Do you paint on one layer? (idk base, shades and lights of a character)
2. Do you colour lock or erase the stuff that are gone off the base?

1. no, i use multiple layers! usually 1-4 layers? depends on the painting. big paintings have 10+ layers
2. mixture of both, really.
