Well, ladies and gents, this set is based off some of the the "unpopular" characters.Never played the Game and Watch series. Never even heard of them until I played Melee. ._.' Even so, with Mr. Game and Watch's distinctive and odd style, I had practically jack to work with. I mean whenever I imagine Mr. Game and Watch as a character, he seems like this silent weirdo who fights with a hammer and bugspray. Like a crazy hobo who thinks an octopus has magical powers... I would have a lot of fun with him in the storyline I developed... XD
Now this has got to be my favorite drawing yet. I don't know if its the dark color scheme or the mysterious character thing going on, but I just get this feeling of absolute awesome from it. I think it's the mask. I definately want a mask like that. Twould be fantastic. I also like these simplistic characters as I can do whatever the hell I want with them. ^^ So yeah, satisfied with this result.
Bee-tee-dubs (btw), part of this design was inspired by ~NeterG's "Super Game and Watch" in his Smash Bro.s Meme. Check that out. o_o Truly bad ass.

I personally see him as an everyman, his solid black design means he can be everyone and do everything (he was also a game and watch generic person).

It most certainly is. Although, how it's functioning out of water is beyond me.
Appearantly, they can function for just a few minutes before they suffocate. So I have to assume that there's a tank full of water nearby.

Incredible. Simply incredible. It reflects Mr. Game & Watch's dark, weird and mysterious "personality" perfectly, and in a human form. Favorite SSBB character, definitly faved. Oh, something that might help you in the story about him, according to the official Smash Bros. site, Mr. Game & Watch was conttroled by Tabuu so easily because, he has no understanding of good and evil.

Pretty much every piece you've done for this entire project blew me away. I love your work.

And I'm keeping this kinda secret, but I am actually sketching out a few test pages for a comic. They're real rough and really reveal nothing about any sort of story. I do have a story/background for it all, but nothing too refined. XD I don't know what I'm going to do with it, but I'll let you know if I start.

I don't see why you don't like him very much. I use him all the time and he's never let me down. I also think that the way he fights has a comical side to it. As for his many different weapons you've done well in adding that many. You have missed a few though. In the games he uses:
A chair (forwards a)
A rocket (a)
A hat (upwards a)
A manhole (downwards a)
A diving helmet (critical upwards a)
Two hammers (critical downwards a/ forwards b/ recovery attack)
A match (critical forwards a)
An oil can (downwards b)
A frying pan (b)
A parachute (upwards b)
A fish bowl (aerial a)
A turtle (backwards aerial a)
A key (downwards aerial a)
Some sort of metal canister (aerial forwards a)
An Octopus (final smash)
......And a Bell (taunt/ ledge recovery attack)
But brilliant job drawing him though.
