Let's face it- Rillaroo (from Crash Bash, a game from the awesome Crash Bandicoot series) never really had the character and personality he probably deserved. His design, while I have nothing against it, never really gave any hint to what he is like as a character (except the obvious- kangaroo/gorilla....). Infact, it kinda just made him look like one big useless goof. But that's ok, a design like this is still alright as long as there's a story that goes with the character that allows some sort of insight into his personality, even if it's just a few catch-phrases. But all our poor kangamonkey had was a bunch of primate screams... I guess the game didn't really allow for much of a character study, and as this new character was dumped in his fist (and last) game with no real explanation, it seems he is simply a waste of pixels. Even if he was intended to be a stupid goofy animal, he didn't get many fans...

So, uh, now I've explained my reasoning and personal opinion, here is my revamp of Rillaroo. I aimed to give him a more...distinct design with a slight badass personality. After forcing my sister to play as this guy while I was Dingodile, I felt it was only fair I gave him a more interesting personality than a dumb mutant. After looking back at my image, I think he looks like the type of villan that would unknowingly cause an eco-disaster on Crash's island after illegally introducing bananas on shore for his own benefit, threatening the wumpa fruit numbers.... I don't know, I thought it would make for a different story X) Let me know what you think! Tomorrow I might start shading him, so let me know if that's worth doing
