Description A concept of the King Arthur legend that was never addressed in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."

I drew Bedivere without his faceguard because I think it just gets in the way most of the time.

Thanks! The biggest irony of it all is that Galahad was convinced in the movie that Lancelot was gay.

can you make a small story where the king and his knights stumble upon a beautiful woman named Anya [my username] and they watch her fight bravely a drafon which causes the knights to be amused while the king falls in love with her. Upon seeing them she realises she's being watched and she asks with seduce: How were my fighting skills my good men?. All the knights of the king whistle and howl and compliment her but the king doesn't likes that because that lady is his and he tells to his knights to man up and as well knighted her and the feelings for her develop and her feelings for him as well. the king and anya love each other and value each other deeply. When they go to the french guard's castle lady Anya became infuriated by the treatment her beloved king is receiving from that french guard so she says: Hey leave him alone and never dare insult him or his parents or i 'll kill you myself. The king feels really proud she defended him but the french guard throws a cow towards them and Anya jumps in front of the king to save him but gets trampled to death. The king and his knights go to help her and they are able to push the cow away but unable to save her. Before she dies she swore that she'll always love the king and protect him and though the king pleaded her to stay she dies.

can you make a story where king arthur from monty python stumbles with his knights upon a very beautiful woman who's fighting bravely a dragon which amuses the knights and the king falls in love with the woman and she realises she's being watched and asks with seduce how did they found her fighting skills?. All the knights of the king whistle and howl at her skills and compliment her which makes the king jealous an he tells his knights to man up because this lady is his and of course he knights her a knight of the round table and his feeling for her develop and her feelings for him as well. The king and the beautiful woman whose name is lady Marilena [my name in real life] love each other very much and they value each other deeply. The woman accompanies the king to a quest with his knights and they see a man eating rabbit and the lady tells to the knights to not be afraid of the rabbit and that she will handle it. The king is very frightened of that and he tells his lady to stay with him and not go to fight the rabbit because he'll lose her and he doesn't wants that and he tells her he loves her. She assures him that she's capable and she'll win but the king holds her hand tightly crushing it with his own one. Nonthless he reluctantly allows her to go which makes sir Lancelot to ask him if he's crazy because who ever goes there never returns back alive and the king hearing that realised he made a mistake he calls after the woman he loves. Hours passed and the more the hours passed the more frightened and worried King Arthur became he was worried beyond belief it has been hours since she went in there. Suddenly one of his knights see the limp body of the beautiful lady the king fell in loveΒ  and he informs the king and the other knights and when they reach closer they realised that it was indeed lady Marilena wounded and her eyes were closed. The knights all gasped while the king rushed to her side and held her in his arms not caring thatΒ  blood was falling on his clothes and on his sword and he called to her brokenly raspy: My beloved lady my beloved dame wake up please wake up You're a strong woman please open your eyes i need you. One of his knights checked her pulse it was still there and the knight said: She has still pulse. The king sighed in relief but tears streamed from his eyes as he saw how awful his lady's condition was and he called to her brokenly raspy again: My dear marilena oh my beloved dame please open your eyes my knights need you Camelot needs You but importantly i need you don't do this to them don't do this to me. For hours the king held her in his arms hoping that she would wake up and indeed she weakly opened her eyes and said: Arthur dear?. The king sighed in relief and cried into his lady's arms from happiness and he said: Stay strong my love we'll return quickly to Camelot and there i'll heal You and you'll win against these wounds. The woman chuckled weakly but nonthless said with a sad voice: My dear Arthur i'm really sorry to say this but there's nothing to be done to save me i have lost huge amount of blood i fear that i'll die. The king is deeply disheartened by what he hears and holds her in his arms trembling with fear and worry: No don't say that my beloved lady You must stay strong You must live for me and my knights for i love You. The woman weakly raises her hand on the king's beard and touched it leaving a bloody print on his beard and he could feel his eyes illing with tears as she said: Promise to me that You'll care for Camelot and the knights i love you Arthur. That's what she said and closed her eyes and died the knights all mourned for the beloved dame's death and the king cried bitterly for her death blaming himself for that.

I adore this x3 And their faces when they run off, they're all "Squee!"

And I love your style. They're cartoons, but still strongly resemble their real-life counterparts.

Thank you very much!

I like the scene where Lancelot "rescues" Galahad from Castle Anthrax. It's the closest they come to having an actual father-son moment. Galahad probably wouldn't have bet Lancelot was gay if he knew the truth about their relationship. XD

I'm pretty sure her name was Elaine in the traditional story. We can just say it was one of the Castle Anthrax women and that's why Lancelot didn't want Galahad sleeping with them.

BAHahahaha! Oh, I love it...I've both read the traditional stories and watched the Monty Python versions, and enjoyed them both...and I think this is a lovely blend of the two

This is just great...

But was Galahad really Lancelot's son in the original story of the Knights? Anyway, wonderful concept, it does seem like a scene from the movie!

KRRouse In reply to Lun-Sei [2007-07-17 23:08:29 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! I'm not sure about the original story, but I know they were father and son in the book "Once and Future King," which covers pretty much everything that happened to King Arthur.
