I might have misinterpretted it, but it seemed to me like they were referring to Ori in that part where Dori pulled him away from Beorn's door. Dori insisted that "he" (presumably Ori) was under some spell, then Gandalf said, "He's under no enchantment but his own."

Plus, Ori was the one who first asked Gandalf what Beorn was and he was trying to watch Beorn through the door. And then he seemed a little distracted while Beorn was pouring his drink for him at breakfast...  ^_^

XD I think he was referring to Beorn but now that you mention it that does sound like a possibility!

I'd stare too, sheesh, the guy is like 8 feet tall or something ' o' Yipes!
