Except that's not the image in question, and the video is so crappy that you could have who-knows-what traced lightly onto that paper already and viewers wouldn't be the wiser.

You are being very dense. It doesn't just look like a turian, it looks exactly like the Nihlus image. His neck, mandible, forehead, eyebrow, fringe mouth and chin all line up perfectly with your image. That can only happen from one of two things: Heavy referencing, -except that you never cited any references- or direct tracing and then color modification.

No! I don't use references! I watched all the videos of turian on youtube over and over and started drawing from the images i got in my head. Not looking at one static image. Remembering at the heads and expressions yes!
