you're certainly right about the lot of colour. the depth to the shot is outstanding, the lighting quite magnificent. couple those factors with your bordering, you've got a great way here of isolating this little guys journey, evening sun in front of him. impressive

lovely! doet me denken aan onze reizen in Zwitserland toen 'k klein was... snachts kwamen die slakken ook tevoorschijn en wou'k nooit meer op de bospaadjes lopen enkel op de grote wegen die verlicht waren, omda'k ze niet plat wou trappen...
Echt zalige foto! love the focus and the colours, the people on the background add a lot to the shot too, it would be 'flat' without them, so... excellent composition, well done!

really lovely pic. the fact that there're people further up the road made the slug look even more lonesome, highlighting the "on his journey" aspect of the photo.
