A cover of the Spawn comics #106. Pencil, followed by ink outline and then painted over in watercolors. The moon effect is created by using salt to absorb portions of the wet paint.Medium - Ink, Watercolors

It's watercolors thats why. They are not guache which is a solid color... these are opaque.

Thanks... I did a lot of the stuff in ink. Then I painted over it with watercolor. This is one of the few paintings were i outlined in ink. This is as a Spawn comic cover #106 so the idea wasn't mine. I was just in the mood to do something with spawn.

It's still a good copy. I like drawing spawn aswell although I don't very often. Have you seen the hellspawn series by with art by Alex Wood, It's quite abstract and is done in water colours it's really good, he's one of my favourite artists.
