I had this crazy idea for a little Anime yesterday! And, it involves Marcy and all the other gender-swapped friends.
I don't have too much to go with this idea, but I shall try my best:Basically, Marcy is a simple girl whom just wants to lead a simple, normal life in the miserable world she lives in. But, moving to America possibly means the biggest mistake of her life, as she now has to deal with three crazy new friends; the charasmatic Jackie, lively bookworm Jane and charming Debonare! Together, they make sure that Marcy has the best time of her life in the big city, even though she doesn't want to. Now she has to live through whatever crazy activities or embarrassing outfits that Jackie puts her through, all the books that Jane will be reading to her all day long, and a sort-of love/hate relationship with that idiotic hunk Debonare. Quite frankly, the only one whom seems to understand Marcy most is her new pet cat Fluff-Ball... In this most unlikely of friendships, can Marcy possibly survive a maddening life in the big city?

I'm not sure if I'll proceed with this idea. I mean, I might consider a Manga comic, but that'd probably be too time consuming for me. On the other hand, I could write the story by hand, but that too would be time consuming for me also (plus, I'm a terrible story writer).
Nevertheless, I wouldn't exactly be apposed to the idea. (btw, if anyone's wondering why Fluff-Ball looks like that; that design has a bit of an 'Azumanga Daioh' influence in it, because I do like that Anime a lot.

Whether or not it's time consuming is irrelevant, as it basically boils down to; is it a thing you enjoy doing? Yes? Then pursue it. As for it looking proper? I don't think you have to worry about that. When it comes to you and this, proper is whatever level of quality you are comfortable with reaching.
