For my present to EStories , I've had both Twilight Sparkle, and his OC 'Silverlay', present a nice special Birthday cake for him. Of course though, being the typical Umbra Pony she is, Silverlay considers this to be a collossal waste of her time. <_< (I drew this all in one day btw. )

For those unfamiliar with Silverlay:

For this drawing, I've been experimenting a bit more with my new set of coloured sharpies. Of course, most of it is still in pencil. Though it was rather difficult for me, getting the colours perfectly accurate - Especially when it came to mashing two seperate colours together (also, the proportions of both forelegs holding the cake itself were not much encouragement either, especially in Silverlay's case). And worst of all? I'm still having difficulties, drawing Twilight's mane the correct way round! Also, I messed up on the wing-joint a little bit there, for I accidentally sharpied over it... Oh well, it's still a start. lol And yes, I do prefer drawing Twilight Sparkle with her wings. X3
