Description
I was kind-of bored at the time when I drew this. Basically, it's a hand-drawn recreation of that one sequence from the second Pilot Episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before" (aka. Season 1, Episode 3), in which the daring Captain James T. Kirk (technically "James R. Kirk" in that Pilot Episode) takes the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 into the Galactic Barrier at the outer limits of the Milky Way Galaxy, in an attempt to traverse it and exit their own galaxy. Inevitably, they failed and turned back, as the Galactic Barrier was far too powerful for their ship. Though, it DID turn Kirk's friend Gary Mitchell, a potential Esper, into an evil telepath.

In a manner of speaking, I'd say this was pretty fun to draw, especially when it came to managing to give the Enterprise a nice pink aura, in order to add to the illusion that it's inside a glowing nebula. Though, I did mess up on the left-hand warp nacelle, which looks tilted the wrong way, as you can see. Yeah, my bad. Oh well, better luck next time. ^.^
