Personality: Much more confident and optimistic this time around, cracking jokes even on the battlefield. Still pretty unhinged, though.
Status (as of 2116): Over the course of three years, Aki Tanaka has graduated from College, left her dead-beat part-time job at a small shop, and moved on from her crummy little apartment for a far better living environment - all thanks to the help of the young woman of multiple purposes, Makoto Tsukauchi; whom herself was managing Naruhata's favourite free, live, community-based concert, Narufest - supporting the Marukane Department Store's Naruhata branch. Selected as a supervisor, Tanaka's made quite a living out of it. Despite all this, she still chooses to stick with a life of vigilantism. Of course, now free of both College and a job that she didn't even like, she's more free to do her hero work by day as well as night, continuing to take a stand in lawless towns like Naruhata. With her new living, she's even managed to purchase plenty of spare All Might hoodies online - finding as many "Young Age" specials as she could, in order to to keep differentiating from the "Golden Age" look of fellow vigilante, Koichi Haimawari (aka. The Crawler). In fact, in current times, she's even switched up to a more "Bronze Age" look, darkening her hero gear and clothing for a far more stealthy appearance. Although, with Makoto in America with Captain Celebrity, Narufest was in gradual decline, with Marukane slashing their budget. And with Narufest gone, what next? She'd most likely have to find herself a proper job, much like Koichi. Of course, nothing would prepare Tanaka for the greater horrors yet to come; The Naruhata bombings, and the following final battle for The Crawler; Nightmare Night. The Naruhata Lockdown. On this night, not even swinging through the streets like her idol Knuckleduster, or flailing her sledgehammer through combat training, might be enough to ensure Tanaka's survival against the deadly forces of Number 6, and his dreaded Bomber Villains...

This here is pretty much how Sledgy would appear throughout the latter half of Volume 9 onwards (manga wise anyway, as there's no anime adaptation just yet). Sort-of a more black and red "final battle" kind of look for her.

Also, upon looking back at Volume 7, I completely forgot there as a New Year at that point. So, technically, the events of the Sky Egg Incident took place in 2113, and the events of the Naruhata Lockdown took place in 2116, literally a year before the very start of the main MHA story. So, yeah, Sledgy's pretty much 22 years old at this point, instead of 21. ^.^
