Description TF Robotmasters - Regular retail - RM-01 G1 Convoy (2004):

Part of the first wave of Robotmasters toys, "G1 Convoy" (as he is amusingly referred to even in fiction) visibly takes its cue from 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime, featuring a similar sculpt, but sharing few to none of the larger toy's other attributes, least of all anything that could be described as a successful transformation.

G1 Convoy comes with two sets of fists, each pair featuring differently-shaped fist holes: one pair with square holes to hold the figure's "Convoy Gun" (as his ion blaster is called), and the other with round 3mm-compatible holes to hold the spring-loaded translucent blue missile launcher (a generic accessory also available with Robotmasters Beast Megatron and Beast Convoy). The fists are swapped out by simply popping them out of the wrist-hinge that holds them in place; the figure also includes an energon-axe that can be inserted into the wrist instead of a fist.

Due to being molded in translucent plastic, the waist section is prone to breakage, so exercise some caution.

Bet none of you ever knew I had this, right? Unless I've mentioned it before anyway. Then again, I HAVE mentioned it here: www.deviantart.com/krytenmarkg… (1/7/17) Anyway, I digress. With this here being pretty much my only TF Robotmasters (2004-2005) figure - heck, my only proper Japanese Transformers figure - unless you count both my Super Collection Figure - Wheeljack, and Super Collection Figure - Chromedome (Clear version) - I give to you what Japan once referred to him as "G1 Convoy". And yeah, the Autobot insignia's lost some paint, due to my youthful 13 year-old carelessness back then. Seem to be missing a hand as well (obviously), according to the figure's description on TFWiki. But whatever, this'll do. It's clearly hidden away somewhere in one of my many boxes, and I'm not wasting even more time looking for that as well. Just glad to have this fellow out of the box after so very long. ^.^

Also, back then, I felt as if it pretty much felt like a downscaled MP-01 Optimus Prime almost. How crazy am I, right??
