depending on your tripod (especially if its a manfroto) you can pick up another one for very cheap at a camera store.

they couldnt figuer out how to work with complicated stone made cameras so they started to draw on the caves walls lol

what would National Geographic do without me and my discoveries lol
i called them last mounth and told them about my countires Ancient places and they made a really good report this month in their magazin ! if you can buy Aguest version of National Geographic , it has cool stuff about iran , here is the link of some pics

Sorry about the tripod! I've done that - mine has a boot that attaches to the camera and I've taken it off before, making the tripod useless!

I did the same thing when I was in Yellowstone last year, setting out to take pictures of the sunrise. This picture came out way better than mine did, I love the color contrast between the rocks and the trees.
