Hello everyone, ^_^How are you? Are you doing well? I sure hope that you are! My goodness! It's been quite a while since I posted a piece on this site, hasn't it? Well, I'm hoping to change that in the future! Here's hoping that I really am able to do it this time!
For now, however, I wanted to post a few older works that I discovered; ones that I even had with me at the Otakon anime convention this weekend! This first image is a landscape piece that I did many years ago, yet one in which I am still quite proud of. I don't quite recall the reasoning behind this work, other than it being a painting that I had completed for a school project, but I remember feeling that the piece had a nice atmosphere to it upon completion It almost appears as if a fantasy creature could emerge from this site at any moment and I still feel that way even now.
Much like my works of today, this piece was done using opaque water color paints. Thanks for looking everyone! And take care now!

Holy crap, I don't recall EVER seeing this one! This is really freaking awesome! The atmosphere and depth of this is really amazing. I'd really love to see more backgrounds/illustrations like this one! ^_^b

That one's amaaaaazing!!! I love landscapes. I really do. And you definitely did a great job of capturing the mist/fog, which is a difficult thing for even photographers to capture well. Awesome work Kat!
