yep. just like how gems change their appearance after they've been poofed and reform with a tendency to show off with a new article of clothing/new design where they were poofed *Garnet's outfit showed a new design after she reformed on the ship, split in the middle just like how she'd been poofed, and Pearl had a little waist-scarf where she'd had a sword go through her.*

However unless I just haven't been paying close enough attention, Amethyst might be the exception to this or she hasn't taken heavy enough damage in a specific spot when she gets poofed *and it's happened a few times* for her to significantly show that when reforming.




But yea, your theory is correct, I saw something like that on Youtube once by I think it was The Roundtable *might have been something else not certain, but I DID see a video theorizing on Gem forms and how they change depending on the relationship between the gems in said form/fusion*

So the Malachite we KNOW might not be the Malachite we're supposed to know- if Jasper ever gets unbubbled and SOMEHOW gets Lapis to make-up with her/accept her, and gets a bond with her then this very well might be Malachite's proper, STABLE form.

definitely but with Lapis it'll take a lot to get her to trust Jasper, especially since Jasper seems to represent everything about Homeworld that Lapis hates.


BUT there'd be one good point to start on. having Jasper realize Steven is his own person, not Pink or Rose, and be willing to protect him. Cause everything Lapis does is FOR Steven. it's the only reason she fused with Jasper in the first place, to keep Jasper from getting to Steven, her only friend *at that time*

right that's why, and i never believed Lapis was weak, ever. I knew SOMETHING was up with her and that she was stronger than we thought, but didn't know until the "What's the use of feeling, blue?" song where Yellow sings "A Lapis Terraforms"

Either it was that some or SOMETHING a diamond said, i swear i heard it IN the show somewhere. regardless, Lapis is far from weak, and the fact that she shrugs off Blue's ability to incapacitate others with overwhelming grief/crying/emotions in general with a simple "I've felt worse"?

Our Lapis has been through hell and back and it's made her stronger for it. Stronger as a gem, stronger as a person in her own right.





and i am VERY much hoping for a Lapidot fusion sometime soon *though might not be very soon because Lapis might still not be very fond of fusion in general after Jasper but who knows*

because imagine the brains Peri has, combined with a water-based TERRAFORMING ability? Yea I bet even WHITE would fear that and with good reason

Um,didn't you watched Raise the Barn?,didn't you fucking saw how she emotionally abuse Peridot?,do you really want to see Peridot suffering like Jasper?,cuz what Lapis did to her is a dangerous close one at what she did to Jasper,the only thing missing was the phisical abuse
Until Lapis get her shit together and apologizes no only to Jasper but EVERY-fucking-ONE(Connie,Greg,Peridot,the list go on)she really,REALLY must NOT have any kind of relationship with ANYONE cuz she doesn't know what a healthy friendship/parnetship/whatever-ship is,at all
What I really want to see is Peridot and Jasper bonding,healing and realizing neither of them deserved the shit Lapis did to them

PS: The only time I was happy looking at Lapis was when she was poofing,you have no idea how much I wanted to go there and tell Yellow OMFG THANK YOU!....before you get mad at me,I know she suffered a shit ton,but let me put it in this way,if someone have abuse you in a emotional/phisical way,you would hate it less if you knew that person was abuse too?,you would understand but not justified it and that is the same to Lapis,we know why she take her anger out of Jasper,but that doesnt mean it was ok,neither the fact that Jasper was "bad",cuz we also know why she did all that stuff,it makes it ok?,hell no,but she can heal and be a better person and Lapis too
