ROTBTD Hogwarts AU! + patronuses
Merida- Gryffindor (come on. ‘BRAVE’)
Rapunzel- Hufflepuff (Hardworking, you saw her song in the beginning)
Hiccup- Ravenclaw (The guy thinks out of the box so much)
Jack- Slytherin (Ambitious- he wants to be believed in, plus just wanted all 4 houses in this post)

Now for the part you all love to debate about, their patronuses.
Merida has a bear for many reasons that are obvious. I also like to think it used to be something with incredibly sharp eyes- hawk etc. But after the incident of her family kinda turning into bears, and her relationship changing with her mother, I feel it would switch to bear form.
Rapunzel has a bunny rabbit/wild rabbit/hare because rabbits can be seen as symbols of spring and new life. I quote Tangled directly: ‘when will my life begin?’ Plus rabbits are cute, curious and I feel their energy suited Rapunzel.
Hiccup has a dragon for obvious reasons. ‘Soul of a dragon’. Plus tbh I don’t think it could be anything else.
Jack has a stag because stags are majestic and incredibly graceful creatures. They’re also depicted quite often as protectors and as lone guardians. So I felt the stag reflected a more mature side of Jack, and the antlers kinda reflect his shepherds crook too.
Those are my thoughts anyway and they might be way off from your own, but that’s what artist interpretation and own opinions are for.

Rapunzel's bunny kinda reminds me of the scene that she "climbed" on Fynn because of some "beast" but it was just a bunny rabit LOLS

But imagine them all learning their patronuses and they're all talking. Of course Merida has a bear because she's so powerful and her teasing Jack that her patronus could eat his and Jack just replies that at least you can have fun with his without being mauled to death and them congratulating Rapunzel because of course she has a rabbit. And then they're all watching Hiccup try and figure his out because the poor boy can grasp a really really happy memory just yet, and they're teasing him like friends do saying it will probably be an owl or a gecko or something like that and they're laughing then BAM- Hiccup gets it right and A GIANT DRAGON GALLOPS TOWARDS THEM and they all just sort of turn towards Hiccup

Ah, yes~! A RotBTD that has Hiccup in Ravenclaw and Punzie in Hufflepuff! A lot of other people tend to think that Hiccup is a wuss and thus belongs in Hufflepuff, then leaving out Punzie and putting her in Raveclaw. But few realize that Hiccup is a down-right genius (not saying that he can't fit into Hufflepuff with his loyalty and trust with Toothless, but I think that his intelligence is a greater part of him as a person).

I think people compare Rapunzel to Luna Lovegood, and well, most of the good-looking characters in HP are in Ravenclaw (Cho, Roger Davies, Penelope Clearwater etc.)
