Description A photo of my beautiful princess, Snowy. I rescued her on Oct 3rd 1997 as a starving kitten. She's such a unique and wonderful cat. This photo is from when she was about 3 years old and shows her in her 'bedroom' when I used to live with my parents.

Oh wow, what a pretty kitty =3 She looks very well taken care of.She must feel very fortunete to have been rescued. I have an adorable black & white cat that we saved in 1998 ironically enough (close enough to your date). her name is Figero or "Figs" as we like to call her.

aww...she's so pretty. It's so cool that you rescued her...I've always wanted to do something like that, I think it's really neat.

Thanks very much. I just saw her and my heart melted. I've always taken in injured or stray animals (much to my parents bemusement).

that's sweet. I have no idea what my parents would do if I brought an injured animal home (I've brought a couple strays in but they put them out again. )

I used to. I had a baby Raven I called Dave, but I had to give him to an Animal Sanctuary since my new landlord at the time didn't like him and I found out that they need to be looked after by their parents for up to 5 years. I haven't found any animals in need of rescue recently which is a good thing.

That's really interesting about ravens, I didn't know that. We used to have a German Shepherd that had been rescued. We didn't do the rescuing but he was one of those unwanted puppies that someone found and we adopted him. We didn't get to keep him though.

Aww, bless. I'm sorry, I found a kitten once that had to be put down. It's mother was a stray who had abandoned it away from the other kittens because it was seriously ill with cat-flu. I know how hard it is to let them go. At least he'll have a better life than before you adopted him though.

KTedham In reply to Stroody [2008-04-08 17:37:47 +0000 UTC]

lol, her bedroom used to be my Barbie's bedroom of the dollhouse in my old room, but she decided it was hers instead. She is really spoilt lol. Nope - that's just her strange fur. She was in a bad way - when I first picked her up, I could feel all her bones through her fur. Her tails broken at the end too. She's a princess now though.
I'm glad you like her.

Thankyou so much. She was indeed a real beauty back then - she's getting a bit scraggy in her old age lol. I still love her to bits though.

I've heard the cure for scragginess is to shave a square patch out of only one side. I wouldn't try it myself but a special friend of mine tried it and said it worked like a charm. *giggle*
