Description Our home is there, where our heart is. For a nomad, who living his life forever on the way, the real home is with someone, whom he loves, because being connected making us feel like at home, wherever we be, if we are with someone who touching our heart, we feels as at home.

This picture  portraits my OCs, Akhtan with his most significant other Leisen, his the only wife he had during his lifetime.
Before tragic betrayal of his brother Alchyn, and war happened because of Mongolian invasion, Akhtan lived happily with his family

By nomadic tradition, Akhtan, being a noble man, was able to have as many wifes as he wish, but his heart belonged to Leisen only, as same as her heart was only his, so Akhtan never had another wife or even concubine. He just saw noone except Leisen.
They both had really sweet and tender bond between each other, so after Sulinaz's (their daughter) death at war time, and Leisen's kidnapping,  Akhtan, partly lose his mind. His daughter died on his hands, and wife, no matter how hard he tried to find, wandering throughout steppe, he can't find anymore.  He tried to drink his pain out in taverns, and  found the replacement among beautiful women in all place he goes, but, noone took a place in his heart as Leisen did. Somewhere deep inside his soul, he knew, she probably already dead, he can't find her for over 10 years, but, even at the moment he met with Vera, he still had a hope, tiny hope, that someday, he will find Leisen alive, and took her back home.
How much unsettled soul can be, without someone beloved, he knew it so well. Thats why he never was able to stay at one place...

Yes, the idea of home is not always tied to a house or some other physical structure.  One's sense of home is often connected to some emotion (as you put it: "where our heart is").  This is  a sweet and lovely painting .

This is lovely! I Love how you portrayed Akhtan and his wife's precious moment together. Love the different brush strokes and tones you used here (especially on the clothing, trees, and on the horse), you always give your watercolor paintings the 3 dimentional volume and weight. Not to mention, drawing horses and people on horse back ride is crazy hard to draw (at least for me, but probably a cake walk for you) and you nailed the pose perfectly. I bow to the nomadic steppe master.

Oh really? But the results clearly show that you're really good at it! I've only drawn a full body horse... JUST ONCE and it was crazy hard (I'll be needing more practice with it)! X'D

It's so sweet how you were able to aIt's great how you were able to portray their emotions in the way they interact with each other in the drawing. Even from the thumbnail, you could tell these two characters love each other! And the bright colors give it a lively feeling.

Poor Akhtan, he hasn't lost hope of ever seeing his wife again!

The vibrant hues here imbue this piece with such warmth and brightness!

Also, it is wonderful to see Akhtan and his love Leisen share this moment of happiness. Happiness is a rare treasure, indeed.

Also, the story written below is exceptionally moving.

thank you so much for a great review on my artwork and story Akhtan and Leisen was very harmonically couple in all story , they , truly was like pre-destinated to each other so it was so hurtful for him to lose his beloved one.

Absolutely stunning! This is such a lovely picture and they look so happy here. Nice to see some cute scenes from Akhtan's past (so sad, his story is). Leisen loves him so much--you can just tell by her expression. I've never seen Akhtan with such a big smile before! The horse is also really well done and the background is wow!

thank you so much. yeah... Akhtan's life is a tragedy on itself D: (uuumm, i think im cruel story writer), so i wanted to paint something cheerful about his past. his past was a way better than his life at his middle age. anyway, he still stayed always communicative, optiomistic, charismatic, cheerful person. in my story, he actually often smile such widely. its just i never did drawiongs like that.  He always smile and have pretty nice teeth, specially for medieval era,  so, maybe its makes ladies like him a lot.
