Description         Here is my OCs Mirza fav.me/d7ntixv and his son Bayar fav.me/d7hteg6
This drawing is retrospective thing, well, it is like a "photography" about Mirza's past.
At that times he was much more younger, than he is now in my story (he is 47 y.o), I think, on this drawing he is 32 y.o, and Bayar is around 7 y.o.
Mirza just gifted this horse to his son and, while horse is too young, he just trying to help them (his son and horse) get know each other better, and became best friends. Or just a friends. (Remember, that horse was never a "thing", but a true friend for nomadic warrior)

Bayar is older Vera for 3 years (Vera is my main heroine, she is not pictured here. so, Vera at this times was little girl, 5 years old only. there is a huge time gap between her and Mirza, as they met after 15 years, from this horseriding picture happend. yeah... Mirza can be her father as well. Holy crap! I love to create such type of pairing ehehe XD )

I really love what you did with the background, the way you didn't let the sky be completely blue everywhere.  I feel like it really highlights your characters since a lot of the colors in the picture are somewhat muted.  You can definitely feel the chemistry in this "photo."  Father loves both son and horse.  Son is up a lot higher than he is used to, but happy at the same time.  Great shading and texture throughout.

Aww lovely work my friend! This is a sweet father son piece. It's really nice that you did a back story picture for your characters. I think you did a fantastic job on the sizing of everyone the anatomy is really good no one is too big or too little. I like the snow too, it looks like a chilly steppe day.

I love how you shaded the muscles on the horse and how Mirza's looking at Bayar. Bayar kind of looks scared and uncertain of the horse, but Mirza's there to reassure him.

I don't think I've seen a picture of grown-up Bayar, yet, have I? It seems like the few times I've seen him, he's a child (this one and the one with him and Ariuna as children).

Lovely shading on the fur of their clothing and on the snow! It reminds me, it's already getting really cold here.

thank you so much for great comment ^^ Mirza looks at Bayar as over-protectiove hehe, he is nice father to his children, despite he is awful as person, specially at wartime. hehe, and it is a true, I never made a drawing for Bayar adult. O_O its just because he is minor character. But I think, I must to do, for at least sholders-head portrait

Here is also very cold! and we got bad news (I hope its rumor) that we got heating in our apartments only from november. It is crazy thing because here often snowing begins fron middle of October! my feet feeling cold just now, and here is just 7~10 C at night.

No problem! I'd love to see the older Bayar. And how did the Ariuna 3D model in Daz turn out, by the way?

I think it might sometimes drop to nearly close to 0 when it's night here. What a joke. Two weeks ago, I was still wearing short sleeves, and how, I'm wearing a thick jacket and boots to school.

Ktoya In reply to charcoalfeather [2014-09-20 16:47:39 +0000 UTC]

I wearing the same, and even hat when going out (specially at evening). at day we still have 20 C but when there is no sun we have freezing effect, of cold wind last week we had 25 C at day, and it was maybe last day in this year, I am weared shorts
No, yet not made any. I stoped to do renders. Now, it was a time for drawing

The leaves are already turning yellowish as we speak. Kind of inspires me to want to do another autumn picture.

Ah, I see. I'm doing renders and drawing at the same time (and homework, lol). I'm doing one render in Lux that is taking more than 12 hours...I think it'll be finished two days later at this point. xD

Ktoya In reply to charcoalfeather [2014-09-20 20:28:08 +0000 UTC]

oh and I am hate when rendering takes so much of time T_T haha I am always wanna it be more fast and same time perfect quality

charcoalfeather In reply to Ktoya [2014-09-20 20:58:09 +0000 UTC]

I know, right? It's even worse when it takes a long time, since I think sometimes that I might have done something wrong, but can't know for sure until it finishes rendering. Then I have to do it all over again once I fix the mistake.

Ktoya In reply to charcoalfeather [2014-09-20 21:07:35 +0000 UTC]

yes, it is the reason I dislike it too. long time for just test render is crazy thing. by the way, I am already intrigued about your newest autumn drawing

I haven't really thought about it in detail yet

Oh, by the way, the fact that you said that the horse wasn't viewed as a "thing" by the nomads (very true) reminded me of something. Chinghiz, while definitely not an abuser of animals, does kind of view them as "things," due to his bringing up (he had never each touched any animals before going back to Turkestan). He lacks the kind of relationship that Shavkat has with animals. That just really goes to show how distanced he is from his nomadic roots.

Ktoya In reply to charcoalfeather [2014-09-21 10:28:37 +0000 UTC]

It is clearly show how different Chinghiz became, and it is maybe was a real mistake for him and Daniar to came back Turkestan. They became fully different people, not like original nomadic people who stayed to live in home land. so here is also a tragedy, person who immigrate think he stay "same" as other who not immigrated, but he have already different habits and points of you. real tragedy begins when they dfecided came back to homeland and change it, as they thing will be good change for everyone. but it is not true at all.

You got it so right...too bad Daniar felt like he could achieve his dreams and become a leader of a revolution.
