Very cool! The colored version is great, but not as good as the linework, me thinks. I can tell that you were working alongside Francis Vallejo for the past month--I see some of his influence with the ink spattering. Awesome stuff!

Katie, this is sick. How do you get that effect on the jeans to make em look dirty, is it just dry brush? I've always admired that in popes work, he show you that? YOur pants are showing the influnence for sure. I was saying to your brother how I was curious to see how his influence would affect your work. It looks really great. The brush work seriously brings your stuff to a new level. Don't ever go back t pens. It looks so rad. Thats enough gushing, hope all is well!

As someone who can't ink to save their life, I have huge respect for those who can, and this is just... wow. Really amazing. They're so crisp and clear and dynamic, they're really beautiful. I prefer it to the colour version. It's just an awesome piece of linework.

Really digging on the inks for this, I love seeing such a heavy-inked style from you. I'm more used to the cleaner stuff you do, this is so great.

I got that effect by loading up the brush with ink and blowing on it (make sure you put paper down to cover areas you don't want to get spattered!)

She probably just splattered the ink from the pen by blowing on it.
