I was growing a little jaded with simply doing cel-shading, so I gave soft-shading a go. Man it's time consuming (And a little frustrating) but anyway I hope people can recognize who this character is. If not then that means I've failed as an artist. ;_;Commission for .

You're right...soft-shading is time consuming. But it's worth it.
So...how about we set the divide:
Soft shading for characters like Claire who look realistic in their source
Cel shading for characters like Neptune who look like they belong in an anime in their source
Whatcha think about that for a way to balance it out?

It looks incredibly nice. Already i'm eager as to what the next soft-shading result will be = ), though until I saw the obvious franchise symbols, I actually thought it was Mai Shiranui in office clothes Xo. I have failed.
