Having drawn countless bare feet pictures for nearly a year I feel as if I've forgotten how to draw thick socks.... Damn you and !!(I'm joking)
I'm tentative on the gag. I'll either go with some stuffing protruding from the mouth or a reverse cleave with the knot tied in front of the mouth as opposed to the back of the head.

I always kind of liked the idea of being gagged by having the gag knot tied in the mouth. I've been gagged that way myself and it IS effective!

One thing: Try to scan with a black cardboard behind of the folio if you have drawings in the back. This avoid the transparent images. (I have a lot of drawing like this

Also, how do you go from pencil sketch to digital copy? A scanner? If so, you could try putting a piece of black construction paper behind the page when you scan it. It should get rid of the bleed-through from the other side of the page.

Yeah, I scan it and then work on the rest of it in Photoshop. And thanks for that little tip. I'll remember it the next time I scan some more sketches.

It works really well for the manga I scan, so I imagine that it'll work equally well for sketchs.
