My reasons for doing a random Superman art on a Saturday night are manifold: 1) I did a Batman some time ago and thought this would be a fun and more colorful companion piece, 2) I was inspired by an awesome work in progress by an artist I admire on Instagram, and 3) I had that One Call Away song stuck in my head pretty much ALL DAY.

Your opinion on Man of Steel and the recent DCEU? I thought Man of Steel and yes, even Batman vs Superman were great despite their apparent yet understandable flaws in the script and stuff

I've never been a huge fan of superhero movies that take themselves too seriously and almost all the DC movies deeeeefinitely take themselves verrrrry seriously. Man of Steel was okay but super angsty and fairly unmemorable to me, and I thought BvS was pretty silly.
I'm on board with Wonder Woman.
I haven't seen Aquaman.
I heard someone say lately they should just forget the first couple happened and start over with WW and A as the beginning of a series of origin movies and THEN combine them a la Avengers, which is as good a plan as any at this point.
