Once upon a time I was new to Photoshop, and I didn't have a tablet or anything cool like that. But I still loved to draw by hand and scan in my arts, and before long I tried to color them anyway. With a mouse. It was sometimes a struggle, but at the time I thought I really made it work! HA. Anyway, I recently took an older sketch and painted it in Photoshop, and it just so happened that I had attempted to paint the same piece around the time I drew it. So, for the fun of comparing and noting (hopefully) progress, I now present a side-by-side comparison of my first and most recent Photoshop treatments of the same sketch! The redo still isn't perfect, but I certainly consider it an improvement, ha ha.

(I mean, I DID realize back then that he looked flat and too yellow, and I did redo it a couple of times, but I thought it would be fun to use my very first try at it for comparison.)
