Description
It’s no secret that I adore the Metal Slug franchise ever since I first played the game in an old Union place in a nearby town that got torn down recently. So much so that it became a part of my life, and it might be my number one favorite franchise of all time. Of course not everything’s hunky dory with SNK not doing much with the IP these days, instead resorting to those… tower defense games because reasons, even though they have enough money to do something more than that given the Leyou thing back in 2015 (and having enough resources to make KOF XIV) but I digress.
But anyway, I have the four leads of the series represented in the front and the other leads from Metal Slug 4 in the right hand corner. I originally wanted to draw the tank since it is an icon of the series but I don’t have the time to do so. That and based their poses off of various Metal Slug game flyers and covers (Tarma’s was the hardest to get).

And I should note that I planned to finish this and upload it on April 18th, but I had other things to deal with in life so I’m making up for it by uploading this.

So anyway enjoy this awesome tribute I made for the series; comment and questions are welcome!

Metal Slug is property of SNK (no seriously the company dropped the Playmore thing during development of this artwork). That and the text to use the “20th Anniversary” subtitle are ripped by someone else and not yours truly.
