Description
Years after the first flight of the USS Ares, both Federation and Klingon technology has grown more advanced. Now there is an abundance of vessels that outclass the aging Ares-class. The Klingon's production of the D7 Battlecruiser had proven that a race of arms would never end. It soon became apparent that the crew of any Ares-class warship would need aid when facing even one of the Klingon D7s. The Federation made sure that no ship was ever alone, there would always be a random combination of starships that could cover each others weaknesses.
Event though the bold Ares-class ships used to shine bright, these days it seemed like a constant rivalry between them and the refitted Yorktown heavy cruisers.
