“All right, dia duit and all that, let’s do this one more time. Is mise Padraig O’Hara. I was bitten by a genetically engineered spider, and for the last 5 bliana, I’ve been Eireann Nua’s one and only Spider-Man.”
Last week, I got the chance to see Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse with a good friend, and I loved it! If you're a fan of the first Spider-Verse movie, Spider-Man in general, or even animation in general, you're gonna love this new movie.
When the first movie came out, it inspired a lot of Spider-Verse OCs, or Spider-Sonas, from different Earths in the multiverse. So I decided to throw my hat into the ring with "Spider-Man Eire", from Earth-191317. As a nod to the bilingual characters in Spider-Verse, he peppers in some Irish words and phrases in his speech. Also gave him the surname O'Hara as a nod to the half-Irish Spider-Man Miguel O'Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099.
