Beautifull, reminds me a bit of those walkers in the Leviathan trilogy by Scott Westerfeld (since the book is illustrated), although none of them carry a whole city in two legs (they carry in 6 or 8 xD)

Very original concept: it reminds me of some artworks by Chris Foss and the novel The inverted World by Christopher Priest, but with the additional touch of locomotive limbs
