Me too, I speak it much better than writing Chinese But my specialty is archaic Chinese, I'm a martial artist/kung-fu movie junkie. TVB Why haven't they made any decent historical shows now-a-days? It's all humor shows DX

I heard that many Americans know Cantonese before, that times I thought it's unbelievable but now I think it's true.(You're American, right?)
TVB? You can see it in U.S.? It's amazing...I'm always surprising...OTL
I like martial artist/kung-fu movie too~ I like Kung-fu panda =v= I think it's very eastern.
I don't like watch TV shows, I think most of them are boring...

I'm an ABC, American Born Chinese, sorry if that spoils some of the excitement There are some ways to get the channel on our TVs, it's illegal, but when we have Chinese rental stores everywhere over here so we get all the latest shows without having to resort to doing illegal stuff My fav martial martial artist/kung-fu/historial show has to be Journey to the West with Dicky Cheung and A Step into the Past, I still watch those over from the beginning when there's nothing good to watch

I have watched Dicky Cheung's Journey to the West. I like this show more than the old one(We have many version of this story, for it is one of the four famous chinese classics.)
I haven't watch A Step into the Past yet, but it's very popular here.
I will do the same thing as you, if there is no good manga, I will go to read Hunter again(I have watched Hunter's anime 5times...)

I don't usually re-watch animes, I find it takes too long, I tend to re-read mangas I like. From Far Away(shoujo manga) is a good manga to read, I've re-read it more than 5 times already I never get tired of it. It gives me a happy feeling inside every time I I read it. For shounen I recommend Bio-Meat:Nectar, although it's a bit gory, it's really fast paced and action packed. The art I had to get used to, but once past, I loved it Both are pretty long tho lol.

Oh, I know From Far Away(shoujo manga), although I haven't read it... It looks the same kind manga as The Sky Is The Red River Bank(I'm not sure about its English name.)

I really don't know this bio-meat this time, I read the summary, it sounds cruel, but I don't mind this, I will try to find a Chinese version then.
