Description
24x36 Acrylic on Canvas. Tom Hardy and Tom Hardy in the upcoming Legend film. I decided to pick up the paintbrush on this one and give it a go, which I haven't done in years. What do you think? Should I paint more? Or stop giving in to my art ADD and just stick to one medium.Related content

I think you've done a sweet job.
Your pencilwork seems to be more detailed and improved/skilled than your brushwork, but if you like to and it's fun - why not painting some more pictures?

Thank you! I think that's what I worry about, that it's not as detailed, but really, I guess not all art has to be realistic. (Not sure why I think it does.) It is fun, and I do enjoy it, so I think I will paint more. I may even improve if I do it as much as I've done drawing. I mean, a year ago my drawing skills were not that great, so I should improve with practice, right? At least, in theory.

I think you're right, practice is somekind like the meal of an artist... or so.
And sometimes it's just nice to do something different than usually.
And yep, not all art has to be realistic or hyperrealistic - I think it depends just on how you want it to look like.. and how you can enjoy your results.
