The first thing that struck my attention with this image is your use of colors. The pink and white of the flower really pop against the dark background. You chose a great depth of field to highlight the texture and structure of the petals against the blurred out background. However, I might suggest playing with it a bit more to either bring more petals into focus or to blur more out. The focus that you choose here does emphasize the depth of the flower, but I'd personally like to see it emphasized a bit more.

I like the flowers off-center placement in the frame and how the petals seem to lift upwards towards the top of the picture. Perhaps leave slightly more space at the bottom of the composition or else push the bottom and top sides of the flower off of the frame entirely? I do like the negative space formed, but a slightly closer crop might strengthen the emphasis on the subject matter.
