Description This was just a quick thing I did a couple of days ago because I could.

I didn't plan this out before I painted it, so fyi the stone on the right was a cover up for a mistake. Trust me, that shrubbery needed to be exterminated. Hope you guys like it anyways I'll probably make this a print anyway.

From the thumbnail on my phone I thought the booth was a building. I dont know much about Dr Who but the atmospheric perspective and it being traditional made me click.

The phone box is a time machine, it can travel in time, it's called the TARDIS, time and relevence dimension in space, operated by the Doctor, this is the graveyard in "The Angels Take Manhattan" where the Doctor's traveling companions (Amy and Rory Williams) are zapped back in time by a weeping angel(the angel statue in the background) and their names appear on a tombstone. The tombstone is most likely the one infront of the Tardis, the rectangle one by the oval-ish one.


The mist is likely to add the effect of sorrow of the Ponds/Williams death.
